iPhone users can able to share their Zillow data by facetime sharing.
Since 2006, an American online real estate company, Zillow has been assisting users to search property online. The platform now developed a SharePlay feature for the iOS application of iPhone and iPads. This feature supports users to browse real estate properties with other users by using Facetime. Many iOS users can make a Group call on FaceTime and allows this new feature to browse through the photo gallery of Zillow, so every user can observe the properties.
Based on Zillow’s announcement, the Zillow surfing platform has been a hit in the American population. Therefore, the company has decided to develop this new feature on its iOS platform. By using the iOS application, new shoppers can search and see the properties on sale listings. The user can able to see the property from remote localities. Different users can discuss the rental and for-sale properties using this feature. This synchronizes the property exploration experience together with friends and family. The real estate agents can arrange a virtual property showing for their distant customers.
According to the company’s observation, over 86% of the platform users prefer to search the property with their partners. Since the pandemic, the real estate market has been slow. After that, the audience prefers to see the property online, but the long distant users cannot browse the property at the same time. Since most people can watch the property with their confidant even when they are at different locations.
CTO of Zillow, David Beitel stated about the new feature that, this feature will be a new way for real estate agents to make a connection with potential customers. To use this feature, users are supposed to share their location to watch the property. The company is working on a similar feature for its Android platform. After observing the result of this feature, the company will also develop a virtual tour guide using facetime sharing. In October, real estate competitor of Zillow, Redfin also introduced a similar feature for their platform.
