Oneplus 8 and Oneplus 8pro to Get Oxygen OS 11 Update With Fixes

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro users are already receiving Oxygen OS 11 updates. The update is available only in India and Europe. The version for one plus OnePlus 8 in India is 11IN21DA.

The previous OnePlus series were having Wi-Fi connection failure which has been fixed for OnePlus 8 series. OnePlus users will soon be able to update this functionality from the App Store. According to reports, users can manage their store account in a more convenient way which makes access easier, discover new things and features about the products available and buy OnePlus products online. Users in North America and other regions will have to wait for the Oxygen OS update while those in India and Europe can install the update in the Oxygen Updater. The update for the devices in other regions is in process and is expecting to be released soon. OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 9 series in the first half of 2021. According to reports, the 9 series has three new models including the OnePlus 9lite. The company is expected to launch the product in March. This series will also have the Oxygen OS update. It is a 450MB update which is available in the system updates. The issue of battery backup has not been fixed yet.

Oxygen OS 11 brings other salient features to OnePlus 8 and 8 pro. The problem with pop-up window not showing while connecting to a wireless headset has been fixed. The issue of enabling auto rotate feature has also been fixed. The new features which have been added to this update are dark mode, live background, Zen mode, customizable swipe-down gestures. There were some problems that the users were facing regarding the keyboard which has also been fixed in this update so that it gives a better input experience to the users.
