Users can create new tracks using layouts in the ROCO, a new roller coaster simulator that consists two adjoining seats taking users on simulated roller coaster rides
Now roller coaster ride can be experienced virtually with new ROCO, a roller coaster simulator. The Swedish company INNTQ developed ROCO that consists two adjoining seats with seatbelts, 75 ich 4K stereo sound video screen and a touchscreen control unit that allows users to create their own ride using layouts provided in the system and ride it immediately. The company designed the new system to be used in spaces such as entertainment venues and shopping mall as it does not require any supervision while it’s operating.
Users need to pay US$4 with a credit or debit card and then they can create their desired track by drawing desired layout of the track with their finger on the touchscreen. Then the simulator, ROCO takes the users on a computer animated ride of two minutes along the track and gives all the sights and sounds. Moreover, it also tilts, raises and lowers the seats accordingly. There is also a red button provided for the users in case they need to stop the ride when it gets too intense for them.
Furthermore, as the users can determine all the turns and straightaways, the software added in the system sets the elevation automatically for every part of the track. As reported by the company, the entire set up weigh 1,620 lb and is capable of supporting maximum 265 lb of rider weight and it gets its power supply through a normal electrical outlet. The company plans to supply these units of ROCO free of charge to business partners and then share the generated revenue.
