Google Announces The New Android 12 Go Edition for Smartphones

After successfully utilizing Android 11, also known as R, tech developer, Google has announced the launch of its successor, Android 12 Go Edition. This upgrade will arrive in all android devices in the upcoming year 2022. The developers stated that this essential update to the operating system would increase the processing power of inexpensive devices by up to 30%. This version improvises the previous upgrade done by Android 11 Go Edition. The previous version of the android system did up to 20% improvisations for the devices. Along with that, the developers designed some smooth animations for the system. This animation provides a new quirky splash for the device’s screen.

The study covered by Google shows that there are 200 million active users of the Go Edition of the Android system globally. Based on this report, the developers thought to create an upgrade to the current version of the system. This version sure has some additional features to help out the users. Along with performance improvement of the system, this version also provides increased battery life. The devices are now equipped with the feature of App Hibernation, which helps applications consume as little power as possible. It gives the devices an extension in battery life.

For the file storage of the device, Google has provided the devices with the Files Go app as a default file management platform. This app performs storage, recovery, and backups of the user files. It is also a security platform for the devices, which alerts the user about any issues regarding storage.

For privacy purposes, the Privacy Dashboard had inserted in this version. The Privacy Dashboard allows users to overview the device privacy and provides quick control over amenities like a camera and microphone if needed. The pop-up window will appear whenever any app requires permission to use a camera or microphone. It is a standard method for every android system.
