Canoo Offers ‘Lifestyle Vehicle’ Electric Van at US$ 35,000

Canoo’s first off the rank cab enters the automobile market at a modest price. It is a multipurpose van named Lifestyle Vehicle.

Canoo, a mobility startup, now has some of electric powered cars within the pipeline. However, the company has now provided some information on what’s going to be the leading cab off the rank which is also a multipurpose van. This new electric van is named as ‘Lifestyle Vehicle’.

Canoo was originally designed as a spacious passenger vehicle, and its first truck was shown for the first time in 2019. The car is built on an EV stake board platform and is powered by an 80 kWh battery. It can charge up to 80% of its power in less than half an hour and has a cruising range of 400 kilometers. These important details remain unchanged and the single engine drivetrain produces 300 hp to the rear wheels and electronically limit the top speed to 200 km/h. The interior is as spacious as an ordinary SUV. Canoo said that this car can accommodate 5-7 seats and is suitable for families, private travel, city traffic and adventure travel. Since Canoo first announced the van, the changes that have taken place in the past few years are the addition of several of decorations options including basic, premium and adventure. The adventure includes a redesigned bumper and a new metal protective plate to improve durability, ground clearance, and a stronger profile.

Canoo announced that, depending on the version and other options, this lifestyle car starts at US$ 34,750 and the highest is US$ 49,950. The company opened a pre-order for the van by issuing a US$ 100 bond and the prices of these models were not disclosed when announced previously. The company says the lifestyle vehicle can hit the market in 2022 with deliveries for the truck and panel truck to follow in 2023.
