Ignoring few food habits can assist for better sleep after 50’s states an RDN
According to the growing age people face several challenges , after 50’s people few people loose memory, some face issue in eating good food and few people face challenges owing to different health conditions. One major issue that people face aged more than 50 are they don’t get a proper sleep and feel uncomfortable the whole day due to a disturbed sleep. Sound sleep is one of the best medicines that people can include in their daily as, good and quality sleep may enhance the body and persons physical and mental activity. After many survey’s conducted by people experts and nutritionists say that avoiding the consumption of some foods may keep them healthy and also can assist in providing a better sleep. Sometimes food habits have a great impact on what happens to one’s life. Getting older is one of the main thing that restricts the better sleep.
There is a part in the brain that regulates the circle of sleep and wake system and the biological rhythms known as suprachiasmatic nucleus. One of the best ways that can help the regulation of better sleep is eating too close to bedtime is one of the risks that can lead to several health issues. One should try to snack at least 30 minutes prior to bedtime as it makes one drowsy. Including food that naturally contains melatonin may help a lot. A glass of cabernet may make one sleepy. However, consumption of Alcohol may sometime help in getting a better sleep. Sometime people skip their breakfast, lunch and sometimes they even miss their evening snacks just to keep their calories preserved or to lose their weight and eventually eat a lot at the time of dinner which makes them feel uneasy and they fall asleep. Consuming processed food is one of the habits that one should avoid for a better nap.
