Fiber transceivers are devices used to transfer critical information over different communication channels in optical communication. Fiber transceivers act as a single module for data transmission. No additional transmitter and a receiver is required when fiber transceivers are used.

Increasing initiatives of various governments to digitalize various sectors is expected to boost growth of the global fiber transceiver market over the forecast period. DBSCAN was tested experimentally in a 40 Gb/s 16 quadrature amplitude-modulated system at 50 km of standard single-mode fiber transmission.
